CoolBabyNames.com provides name discovery, popularity history, AI-assisted search, shortlists, full-name checks and private Couples Mode voting. Features may change, pause or be discontinued as the service develops.

Name information and AI-generated material

Meanings, origins, pronunciations, related names, personality-style descriptions and recommendations are provided for general informational and creative purposes. Names often have multiple histories, spellings and interpretations. AI-assisted material and automated scoring can be incomplete or wrong.

Verify information that matters to your decision with authoritative cultural, linguistic or family sources. The site does not guarantee a name’s meaning, pronunciation, origin, suitability, uniqueness or future popularity.

Accounts

You are responsible for providing accurate account information, protecting your password and activity under your account. You may not access another person’s account or invitation without permission. We may restrict or disable accounts used for abuse, interference, automated extraction or unlawful activity.

Your content and sharing

You retain responsibility for search text, shortlist titles and notes you submit. You give us permission to process that material only as needed to provide, secure and improve the service.

Anyone with a shortlist share link may view its shared names and ratings. Do not place confidential information in a shortlist title or any field intended for sharing. Notes are excluded from shared shortlist pages.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service, evade rate limits, probe for vulnerabilities, upload malicious material, scrape at a level that disrupts service, impersonate others, infringe rights or use the site unlawfully. Reasonable personal browsing and sharing are welcome.

Availability and responsibility

The service is provided on an “as available” basis. We work to keep it reliable and secure but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free information. To the extent permitted by applicable law, CoolBabyNames.com is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service.

Ending your account

You may delete your account from account settings. We may suspend an account that violates these terms or creates security or operational risk. Provisions that logically survive account closure—including responsibility for prior conduct and limitations of liability—continue to apply.

Changes and governing law

These terms may be updated as the site changes. The effective date will be revised when material changes are published. These terms are governed by the laws applicable in Michigan, United States, without overriding consumer protections that cannot legally be waived.
